Lighthouse Drive Bridge at N.E. 44th Street
Constructed a new wider bridge, including
pedestrian walkways on both sides of the bridge.
Police Station
Transformed the empty North Broward Preparatory School building into a state of the art police facility.
Library
Completely remodeled, expanded and renamed the Lighthouse Point Library. Added a computer lab, conference rooms, and a media area.
City Hall
After suffering severe damage from 2 hurricanes
and a major rain storm, City Hall was completely renovated. Improvements included upgrades to offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, and the Commission Chamber.
Dixon Ahl Hall
Thanks to a grant from Broward County, Dixon Ahl Hall was completely remodeled including the interior and exterior of the building
DeGroff Park
DeGroff Park was purchased by the County and given to Lighthouse Point. It was transformed into an Emerald Award Winner for environmental conservation by planting over 150 trees including Gumbo Limbo, Oak, and various types of palm trees.
Playground 2007
Following the concept development and fundraising effort by a dedicated group of mothers, the tot lot at Frank McDonough Park had new playground equipment, new playground surface, and shade canopies installed.
Lighthouse Drive/Marina Drive Roundabout
Designed and installed a Roundabout that rerouted traffic in a more efficient manner and beautified the area with lush landscaping.
Sample Road Median and Landscaping
Beautification project that added lushly landscaped medians to the center of Sample Road.
Lighthouse Drive and 39th Street Stormwater Replacement
In an area inundated with flooding during minor rain events, new, larger stormwater lines were installed in addition to new sidewalks, resurfaced road, and new trees.

Federal Highway Beautification
Planted new landscaping including several species of new trees, and installed reclaimed water lines for irrigation.

STILL TO DO:
 
N. E. 24th Street Drainage and Repaving
Replace existing stormwater lines that improve drainage, provided swales, and resurfaced the road. Scheduled Completion - September 1, 2008
Dixon Ahl Parking Lot
Construction of a new parking lot and landscaping on the site of the old Police Station to provide additional off street parking and tree canopy for city activities. Scheduled Completion - December 2008
