9th Annual
“Keeper Days”
“Our Hidden Treasure”
February 6, 7, and 8, 2009
The Lighthouse Point Keeper Days
Weekend was begun
as an event to bring friends and neighbors together,
and to celebrate our unique community.
The Kick-Off and Recognition
Dinner on Friday night at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club is always a hit
where we get to hear special people tell us about
the good old days in Lighthouse Point!
We honor our City’s heritage by selecting “Keepers” of Lighthouse Point
as the Grand Marshals of the weekend.
This year the City will be honoring
Mrs. Cynthia Rohkamm
Detective Larry Hawkins
and posthumously Mr. John A. Grant, Jr.
for their generous contributions to our City.
Don’t miss the opportunity
to be a part of this wonderful City tradition.
On Saturday morning, to start
off the day’s events,
the “Keepers” will lead the Parade down Lighthouse Drive
from First Presbyterian Church, 2331 NE 26 Avenue,
to Frank McDonough Park, 3500 NE 27 Avenue.
Don’t miss this opportunity to thank these honorees
for their many years of service to our City.
Details on the special events are
available below.
